Hi. Its about time this website got an update, don't you think? I managed to un-mess-up the about page, and tidy up the website code on my end a teensy bit, but the information is now wildly out of date. I'll be changing the description under Tokyo Mew Mew New soon enough. Season one was adorable and I've been putting off watching season two for a bit, but thats going to change soon enough alongside this site. Hehe ^-^

Weird, weird, so weird that I always circle back to Tokyo Mew Mew. I updated the gallery on the site so check out the new pictures that are finally uploaded. I am no better at coding then I once was so it still looks...bad. Oh well! I'm too busy being the worlds most scuffed vtuber, I cant work on the worlds most scuffed fansite...or can I.... *eyes emoji*

So...work on this site slowed for a few months. I've been pretty busy and there wasn't much news to report on besides the mysterious count down timer. I also have been busy with other projects beside the site, like uni and my Japanese classes. Things are slowing down though because of quarantine. I've also been rather depressed recently. My agoraphobia is worsening. Still. Keep Calm and Carry On as much as possible. (God it hurt to type that line.) New MEw stuff is on the horizon though, so keeping my chin up isn't too hard. The lads over on Twitter have been tweeting so much fanart my twitter is all retweets. (Follow me @Sloth1e.) Also, my twitter is full of Animal Crossing because...well...you know how it is.... ':D Regardless, I hope to update the site a bit more soon. Das a promise! Love Neocities love the diy atmosphere so much! Don't forget to join the server and contact me if you want to chat!

AHHHHHHHHH!!!! There is going to be a new Tokyo Mew Mew anime and idol group! The anime will be called Tokyo Mew Mew New. Since it is the 20th anniversary of the manga, it is to celebrate that. There is also a competition to select the new voice actress for Ichigo. Read more info here:

Just logging on because there is a count-down to a new "Mew Project" on the official Tokyo Mew Mew website. (Link will be below.) As of writing this, the countdown is set for 33 days from now. I'm not really sure what its going to be but some people on twitter have suggested that it might be a reboot of the original series, or possibly a sequel! Very exciting stuff. As for site news, I'm going to be uploading the final pictures I've saved for the gallery soon, as well as adding TMM Au Lait chapter 2 to the drive soon. Just gotta stop being lazy and actually, you know, do it. X(

Hey doods! The first chapter of Tokyo Mew Mew ReTurn and the first chapter of Ore/Ole/Au Lait is out too! I'm still trying to get get my hands on a physical copy of Nakayoshi's Jan and Feb issues but until then I found a file of ReTurn and an English script which will be put in the watch/play tab of the site as soon as I finish updating this blog basically. Do enjoy and tell me what you think by joining the Discord! (link on the home screen) or by emailing me! Cheers lads, its the year of mew mew!

Happy New Year! Exciting things are afoot in my life. I am returning to school part-time in online university. As of yesterday, I join the League of English Majors! This will hopefully get me closer to my goal of living and teaching English in Japan! I'm not just popping on to ramble about my personal life though. I also have added a new button to the main hub that leads to a gallery of images I've collected of Tokyo Mew Mew art. Most of it is official, though if you notice any uncredited fanart that has snuck its way in, please email me. Also, I'll be continuously adding art to it for the foreseeable future, mostly starting tomorrow because...its late right now and I'm tired. Also, Mew Mew Check is now listed on Anilinks which is a neat little sight I think every anime fan would enjoy poking around on if they're an anime fan.

Finally had a chance to sit down and fix up some thing that had been on my mind in regards to the website for a while. Of course, with my tiny amount of coding knowledge, I'm afraid "fixing" things meant creating more problems I'm not sure how to solve. Although the site is navigatable I fear my "GrApHiC dEsIgN iS mY pAsSiOn" level-design knowledge is going to be my downfall. But its an aesthetic, right? Right?
Updates! I changed the redirect of the watch/play button to its own page and uploaded the PS1 game to the drive. Also, good news that the TMM English Dub Discord broke to me minutes ago, TMM is getting a Blu-Ray Release in 2020! I suppose my interest has been rekindled at the right moment. The Blu-ray will be in 480p with a 4:3 ratio. It's barely an improvement, but an improvement none the less.

I'm so excited! Tokyo Mew Mew Return has been announced as well as Tokyo Mew Mew Ore! There are so few details released so I don't exactly know what to write. Neither Return, or the spin-off featuring a male lead will be released in English. It's exciting to see the creators of the original anime also come back for one story creation, but whats up with the reboot being different artists/writers? Regardless, I'm looking forward to a hopeful explosion of interest in the show. I'm already seeing fanart and such on twitter. For now, check out this news article about it: ~tokyo-new-mew-manga-by-original-creators-to-return-next-month"~

Today I have added the ROM for Hamepane- Tokyo Mew Mew to the Google Drive folder which I will link below! The game is in Japanese and you'll need an emulator to run it. That being said, it is the easier of the two TMM tie-in games and there are basic instructions on the wiki as well as an english susbtitled play of it on Youtube. (The English sub is by the same person I linked in my first blog post.) I am still learning how to do translation hacks but hope to be able to upload the hacked version by the end of the year. A new goal to work towards! In personal news, I have finished my first Japanese course and can read and write the language fairly well, though my ability to formulate sentences and speak them still needs work. Anyway, I am planning on opening a Discord server for this site so I can interact with other fans more directly and maybe drum up some help for coding the site and hacking the games. Let me know by e-mail what y'all think! Cheers!

Short update today but it's official! All 52 English-subtitled episodes have been uploaded to the Google Drive. It isn't an official subtitling as far as I can tell, but rather a fan titling. I cannot credit the subtitles of the show because I took the episodes off YouTube and the person who created them is not active online as far as I can tell. I would love to credit them though. :( Until then, they are what they are.

This is the new blog page for Mew Mew Check! Here I will catalogue updates to the site, tid-bits about the franchise, and perhaps the occasional bit about my life. It's a simple page but I'm really enjoying making Mew Mew Check. Today I went out and bought the omnibus edition of volumes one and two because I couldn't find my copies of them at home. I hope to upload the scans of the covers soon. Also, I have a ROM of the PS1 game now but its in Japanese and I cannot translate it. There is a series on YouTube where someone translated it to English and I emailed her asking for the script but she had deleted it. Another dead-end...eventually I may transcribe the videos and hack the ROM to replace the Japanese text. I've heard its possible, but difficult so that's on the backburner for now.
Until then here is a link to the YouTube playlist of the game. Enjoy!
